Mariah

Owner/Founder

Hi! I’m Mariah — the heart behind Paws Up Vacay. I founded this business out of a deep love for dogs, structure, and the kind of care I would want for my own pack. What started as a passion has grown into a trusted farm-based haven where dogs can be dogs — running free, learning daily, and coming home fulfilled.

With years of hands-on experience in dog behavior, balanced training, and pack management, I’ve created a space that blends structure with freedom, routine with love, and training with fun. Whether it’s boarding, daycare, or a full board-and-train stay, I treat every dog like family — because to me, they are.

When I’m not working with the dogs, you can find me chasing my toddler, running our family farm, or out enjoying a ride — whether it’s on horseback, a mountain bike, or our side-by-side. We’re a big adventure family, so when the sun’s out, you’ll likely find us out on the lake soaking it up on the boat.

Thanks for trusting me with your fur family — I’m so glad you’re here!

Vinnie

The Muscle Behind the Operation (and the Fences)

While you may not always see him front and center, Vinnie plays a big role in keeping Paws Up Vacay running strong — quite literally. From building new play yards and fixing fences to wrangling pups on pack walks and keeping the property in tip-top shape, he’s the guy we all count on.

He’s the one behind the scenes making sure things flow smoothly, safely, and with a whole lot of heart. Whether it’s helping with early morning routines, driving our side-by-side on dog adventures, or making sure the coffee’s strong before sunrise — Vinnie’s presence keeps the whole pack grounded.

When he’s not on dog duty, you’ll find him riding horses, working on bikes or trailers, cruising in our SXS, or enjoying time with our daughter out on the lake. He’s the quiet strength behind the scenes and a big part of what makes our little farm operation feel like home.

“Mariah and Vinnie are warm and welcoming. Made sure our pup had lots of fun and made a good social transition to being around other dogs easy. Will be using them in the future, highly recommended!.”
